so i got it to work . bought a cable on amazon for about $25 dollars. From my S9+ it goes to a Chromecast then to the HDMI converter, then plugged in to the rear AV jacks. the only thing is that i can only get audio through the IR headphones, not the truck speakers
no personal experience here but from what I'm reading its gonna make the autoride go crazy unless you modify it by making it think that its still stock height by installing some brackets to make up for the extra distance in height.

No. if you install any size wire between 2 circuits, electricity can flow in either direction freely. if a Diode is installed, electricity can flow in one direction freely, but it will have a higher resistance going the opposite way. Thats why diodes are sold with different ratings

interesting device. if the phone is paired up to this device while streaming music will it switch over to bluetooth calling when i receive a phone call?
