The transmission drain/refill process is super safe. Unlike a flush that may remove fluid from the transmission itself, the drain/refill only removing the extra fluid in the pan. Letting good fluid circulate into the tranny is the best thing you can do for the tranny. If it fails after that...
I honestly wouldnt care if he was abusive as long as i get my questions answered. Nobody here knows anyone for the most part so attacks are on your online personality, not who you really are. We should all be respectful but the mission is to get your toy fixed. Disrespect is partially...
EddieC, I suggest you take the advice given. You could easily be buying the wrong parts if it werent for people educating you on how many differences there are with this car and many others! Your ego may be a little hurt but its important to know how to be the most efficient in here....if you...
Not since my ownership at 120k miles. I did not see any history regarding a replacement neither. The mileage at purchase was considered high (2011 w/ 120k miles @ October 2016). Still a chance previous owner was flying? LOL
I agree. I did a lot of highway driving and traveling but rarely touched 90. Can it be reset by itself? I did have a AFM delete tune around 130-150k miles. I wonder if that could be related?
11k is not crazy. Thats about average but its not a great deal to me considering what you may have to replace soon unless you know history. The potential good news about that mileage is a lot of things probably failed that may have already been replaced such as the expensive suspension, motor...
I'm thinking battery or wiring to battery. Weird an additional drain makes that much of a difference. When these things happen, does a jump help? That would answer a lot.
A 12" would fit down there with the right custom work but a box with the necessary cubic space may not. The biggest sub I seen someone fit down there was a Kicker L series 10". I forget the dimensions down there but for guaranteed cubic space, I would focus on maximum 10" sub.
This group just helped me with a misfire. I was going to recommend the same. Swap wires or coils to see if the misfire follows the other cylinder you swapped with.
200k+ miles on original pump. I'm confident I probably have double your hours...maybe previous owner drove a lot with fuel low? Limo companies wont care as much as the average joe regarding fuel pump and keeping fuel in the tank.
Can anyone provide pics of a bad radiator? Common cracks? I'm not losing coolant fast but does seem to be going somewhere and I'm still on original radiator at 210k miles.
Replaced spark plugs, fixed a random misfire P0300 issue. Under 70k miles on last plugs. Roughly 210k miles on truck as well. Where did you see radiator cracks? @osidesurfer365
I was complaining about a stutter with the truck for the longest and blamed it on the transmission. This seemed to have went away as well but will confirm later today.
That Cylinder 8 is still tricky. I got it done but could not for the life of me fit the torque wrench. That heat shield all in the way. I gave it a snug fit and everything else went smooth. Fired her up and she sounded amazing and fired right up. Lately she had trouble starting. I went...
Cranks but doesnt fire up. This is for a Toyota Camry. Some say evap, some say injectors leaking and causing engine to be flooded with gas until cool off time and clears. When cool, starts up with no issues and drives fine with no issues. Turn off to run to the store and wont start up unless...
