I had that issue a while back. Took it to three different places, they all did the drive cycle but could not get it ready for smog (Cali thing). Kept getting Secondary Air not ready. The pump worked though as well as all other emissions doohickeys. Finally gave up and took it to the stealership...
Here in "Awesome" California , my 3500 Silverado work truck takes around $ 250 per fill up (around $6 per gallon) once to twice a week. Good thing I dont pay for it!
This just happened on the way back from a long trip. Haven't checked fluid yet. Bearings you think? This is an aftermarket front driveshaft that's been there for 15 years. I'll probably try to remove it in a bit. I did notice some play in it up and down at the t case, not at front diff. No...
Alarm stopped working on 01 Yukon SLE. Not sure if its factory. It has shock sensor (could be aftermarket ) and valet mode. The fob locks/unlocks doors but no sound and led doesnt come on. Wiring looks like it goes to ecm. When you lock doors with interior button and doors open. It'll beep three...
I'm worried the heat may have caused problems with the wiring inside the trans pan. Didnt see anything though and it's already back together. I cleared the dtc but it comes back immediately after starting.
So after trying everything, I finally had to go to a muffler shop and have them weld a nut to my tranny drain plug that stripped out horribly. Everything has been fine but immediately after leaving there, check engine light came on and had rough idle. The stereo cut out for 2 seconds but came...
I take that back, was thinking of the replacements. Actually they worked great out the box. I know, stupid to not have the correct gap but I was younger then
I used them back when I had a K&N air filter and "upgraded" plug wires. For a lifted Yukon with 35's to beat a Dodge Charger handily, I'd say I had no problems with them. Could have been that I have 4.56 gears and they were a 4 banger lol.
Ha ha. Doubt It. A little square of 1/16" sheet metal isn't going to make any difference if you get t-*****. It would take a lot to "crumple" and if so, it's a total loss anyway.
Here's a helpful tip. There are videos on the tube that show you how to do this. I've done it twice and man is it easy!
FUEL PUMP ACCESS FROM UNDER THE BACK SEAT!
Patagonias are out, heard they dont last long. Intercos are probably too extreme as I dont do a lot of mud like I used to. Km3s are too pricey (aren't they all!). Maybe General Grabber X3 but not a huge fan of the tread and lack of sidewall lugs. I'll take a look at the Falkens
Thanks for your input. That's a shame, I really like the tread but performance is King! I've heard great things about those tires but also that the sidewalls are too stiff to air down and they're not great on loose terrain.
