Found one pic from the install I sent to my friends on snap chat. As you can see, I made a press with all thread and the old bushings and a socket to take up the length for the squeeze. The reason I used so many cobbled together spacers is because my piece if all thread wasn't actually all...
Not saying your wrong, because I don't know for sure, but I really don't think they have different crossmember bushing sizes depending on torsion bar diameter. I never saw that when researching these bushings.
* my apologies for no pictures, it's pretty straight forward so you should be able to do this no problem. If you want to, youtube search for this procedure to familiarize yourself with how everything is laid out. Now, all the videos are for factory replacement bushing, but it will help you to...
Why would a tuner lock a custom tune? I can understand locking a canned tune....but a custom tune is a data logged tune....the parameters are not going to work very well on anyone else's vehicle even if they are exactly the same.....hence the considerable time spent data logging and adjusting.
After a purchase of the Autocal V3 with custom tune from BB, is the tune file locked from me going into EFI live and changing parameters on my custom BB tune? I know, why would I do this when you guys offer free updates. Just something I wanted to know beforehand, in case I wanted to personally...
Also on the fuel filter ( just wanted to change it because it looks original) I spent 30 bucks on the fuel disconnect tools and that special wrench....was looking at the filter location and it looks like a tough spot to wrangle out. Called my local Chevy dealer and they agreed to change it out...
Update - rented the fuel pressure test kit. Idle pressure is at 45. When I turn key off it drops to zero in about 10 seconds. So that's not good. I doubt that much is leaking through an injector. Hopefully the FPR fixes it. Will see soon when the part comes in.
Is there a cheap fuel pressure gauge I can screw into the schrader valve on the crossover line? Something like this?

Do you happen to know the size on the flare nut wrench needed?
@Fless Ok sure will! Thanks for the suggestion and the part number for the fuel pump module. From my searching it really sounds like it's the FPR. I just ordered the ACDelco one on Rock Auto for the FF engine. Plan to do it as soon as it comes in. Looks like a really quick install. This weekend...
@Fless - Thank you for the RPO code. I confirmed it is a FF engine with your code. I didn't think it was because of no yellow cap or sticker on the fuel door.
@PNW VietVet - Thank you for that great video! Actually happy I found out it was FF engine because this is easier than the fuel pump...
@PNW VietVet
looking at the vin it looks like it's a flex fuel. Thanks for the info on that.. did not realize it was. I looked at the vin, there is a Z in the 8th position. Working on getting my signature fixed up..
Did a little research and searching but still have a question. I think the fuel pressure is bleeding off causing the long start after sitting sometimes. Is the device that prevents this in the fuel pump module for my 04 Tahoe? I assume if it is I need a new fuel pump module.
If so, thinking I...
This may or may not help but my 04 was making a bumping sound during body flex over small bumps at slow speed. I ended up finding that the passenger rear door could be pushed in and out causing the bumping sound. I adjusted the door strike plate so the door shuts tighter. Fixed my issue.
I was...
Hey nice build thread! I been searching about corvette servos here and your name keeps popping up! I was wondering how the install went with the longer pin? I think I read you had 1/8'' of travel on the servo before you put the longer pin and corvette servo in.
