    Hood swap question

I love getting off topic! Sweet Camaro. Glad he still has it.

    Hood swap question

Yeah mine is getting to about the same level as yours. Unfortunately the one I had my eye on at the junkyard turned out to be the wrong paint code. Weighing my options of spraying it myself with rattle cans or taking it to Maaco and getting my roof done too at the same time.

What Oil To Use in My 6.0 Denali

I read the same, but apparently the Ultra Synthetic line they make is the exception. Well made and tested to perform exceptionally well.

What Oil To Use in My 6.0 Denali

How do you guys feel about changing oil, but not the filter? I currently have a Fram Ultra Synthetic oil filter which I’ve read is one of the best you can buy and is designed to run up to 20k before changing (not that I’d ever run it that long).

    Hood swap question

This may be a stupid question, but is the hood the same across the Yukons and Denalis? I know the Tahoe and Suburban hoods are different. Also, any tips and tricks to doing a swap? I found a nice looking one at the junkyard and I’m going to try and go today to get it and swap in the parking lot.

Check the dip switch settings and the radio selector switch on the PAC unit. There's settings for Sony radios.

    AC blows warm when stopped

So these are the readings I was getting. I know that’s pretty high according to the chart. I let a little bit of pressure out on the low side to bring it down to about 40psi. A couple strange things happened. One, the high-pressure side started leaking like crazy from the quick connect coupling...

Intake tube differences Silverado v SUV v Model Year

The larger/longer tubes on the SUVs serve as noise dampening so it's not as throaty under heavier throttle. The only thing I can think of is MAYBE they designed the SUVs that way because they figure they'll be more of a quiet unassuming family vehicle and people might not like the more...

Bluetooth Player for 2002-2006 GM Trucks and SUVs

I assume you've advertised on the forum under the classifieds section? Maybe even consider trying to become a preferred vendor here so you could post in that section too. Not sure what your profit margins are, but maybe making it a little bit cheaper would help sway people. The problem I'd see...

    Heater Hose "T"

This is the second time I've done this bear of a job. I just hacked away with a saw and screwdriver until they broke off. Like the others said, just replace both black and white while you're there. No sense in doing the job twice. Black one will fail soon.

Headlight Adjusting Screws and Related Parts

Seems you need to be looking for part number 16524772. Take those "fitment guides" on various sites like Amazon and Autozone with a grain of salt. They're often wrong.

Today on how much would you pay

Seems like they have a thing for outrageous offerings. They have a couple of 90s Camaros for sale as well around the same price. Also a '57 Bel Air.

Bluetooth Player for 2002-2006 GM Trucks and SUVs

Did you have much success on ebay? Also consider classified type platforms like Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, OfferUp, and maybe even Etsy. It might be a better business model to make them as orders come in, or keep a very small limited ready-to-go inventory on hand until your traffic grows.

    AC blows warm when stopped

Oh sweet! Are you able to do the tune? I always wanted to pull those fans at the junkyard but I didn’t know anyone that could activate them.

    AC blows warm when stopped

I replaced the belt and tensioner recently. Going to try hooking up my AC gauges first, then I’ll try the clutch.

    AC blows warm when stopped

I'm not the original owner, so unsure of the fan clutch's life. It was well taken care of though. I'm already watching a bunch of videos, so I feel pretty confident checking the levels. Does anyone have a PSI chart for our trucks? Is the PSI the same whether you have the 5.3 or the 6.0?

    AC blows warm when stopped

Thanks everyone. Ordered a set of gauges to check that first before throwing parts at my rig. I'm sure I'll use them again in the future.

    AC blows warm when stopped

Correct... clutch fan. It seems to work fine. It gets loud when it's hot out and doesn't disengage as soon as it usually does. When it's cooler, it disengages around 2500-3k rpm. Would low pressure cause this? Because it's nice and cold when I'm driving.

No... this is the section of the forum for 2000-2006 models.

    AC blows warm when stopped

I know that the condenser relies on air moving through it to cool, but mine is practically room-temp when I stop and idle for a bit. What can I do to help it work better? Air is nice and cold when cruising.
