Has anyone done this or have access to the repair manual?
I’m almost done and and the old one was trashed, all the “plastic” was gone and there was no “pin”.
The new one has a “pin” pictured below, I’m trying to figure out if it stays or is supposed to be removed.
Anyone with...
Just posting an update. Still haven’t solved this mystery.
I checked driveshafts and weights are all in tack. Also, just swapped wheels tires with my Dads avalanche and still the same problems.
I haven’t really worried about it, I don’t usually go at those speeds but we just went on a trip...
Ok, so should I unhook the sensors or the struts or both?
I’m going to look into a tech2 a little more seriously. I have to search around a little more and see where everyone is getting theirs.
Sorry should have been more specific, the front seems to be the issue. Extremely stiff and harsh over bumps.
I might have to look into a tech2, I avoid the dealer like the plague. Is that normal to have to do a reset after a strut/shock replacement?
Not trying to highjack this thread but, I’ve replaced rear shocks and front struts with A/C Delco’s, they were considerably more expensive but wanted to keep it like it was.
One of the fronts was making a squeak so I replaced both as was always told to replace in pairs.
The rears were showing...
yup, added another diode to the brown park wire and connected the side marker before the diode. Works perfectly now. The wiring diagrams in this post is what i originally followed but they aren’t correct. I’ll see if i can add upload the way I wired it.

I believe I wired it up correctly, only thing I’m noticing is that the parking lights are on when my DRL come on.
Did I mess something up?
I wonder if I placed 2 separate orders for a single “t” if it would help get the ball rolling sooner. I believe I need 2 for the reAr heat. The more I read about these failing makes me want to replace mine, but if I’ll have to wait months I’ll just buy the oem version and hope they last long enough.
Any special instructions? I tried to get back there but I can barely touch the connector with my finger tip.
Would you get any additional clearance by removing the transmission mount and raising the rear/tailshaft of the transmission?
Would it be possible for the cluster to have been replaced from a vehicle with higher mileage and they programmed the correct mileage but didn’t reset the trip?
Do you guys have state inspection stickers on the inside? I’d be interested in having mine done but unsure how the stickers would go?

I can’t answer your question but can confirm the replacement to be a PITA! I actually tweaked the replacement lines slightly to get them in and then bent them back afterwords.

I didn’t know it was just housed in the side of the one tank, I guess i presumed that it used a passage or two across the front of the entire radiator, but now I know.
I’ll look into the cooler with a bypass because I occasionally have mornings in the teens. I’ll see what a search pulls up...
Just in case anyone was curious what the built in transmission cooler looks like, i tore the end off my old radiator and this is it. After seeing this I’m fairly sure I’ll have an auxiliary cooler ordered by the end of the day.
Now to take the test to the scrap yard

Below is my current oil pressure readout after installing the cooler. Should I be concerned? I don’t have any before readings but I don’t recall them being this low.
Also, I did top off fluid after everything was done so it’s not low on oil or anything.

I guess you could say that, i loosened the 2 driver side bolts and let the front differential rest on the cross member, it dropped it down about an inch and I was able to fish the lines through.
