    No problem to disable and run. It will fire perfect while cold, but could have some idle surging when warmed up. Cats won't matter beyond the engine light being on, they won't change any engine parameters.

    The l94 is just a l92 with flex fuel injectors and fuel pump, as well as displacement on demand. Once you delete the dod, it will turn into an l9h which is a flex fuel version of the l92.

    Check for a crack in the weld area where your dipstick tube is welded to the mounting bracket that goes down to the head. I have seen them crack there, or the spot welds pull apart, and when hot, will shoot oil all over that area of the engine.
