App for changing tire sizes and stuff?

Yea, the 2019. I have lived with the tire size being off for the last 9 years I have owned the 2008, but I have a feeling the 6 speed trans may like having an accurate speedo to help shift at the right spot.. Hopefully theres a quick fix available.

App for changing tire sizes and stuff?

I had a jeep grand cherokee and there was an app called JScan that worked with the OBDII bluetooth readers that allowed me to make simple changes to the PCM/BCM. Tire size, daytime running light configuration, TPMS resets, and also pulled and cleared codes. is there anything available for GMs...

    Should I buy a 2019 Tahoe ?

I bought my wife a 2019 as a rental fleet turn in. No regrets. it was well maintained, interior is nearly flawless. driver seat wear was almost non-esistent, and getting the certified warranty was a bonus as well. about 10-12K less than an equally equipped new 2019/2020 on the lot. 33K miles...

Interesting. I saw those on ebay and seemed a bit skeptical. They look like a decent fit. Are the glued on? Would be concerned with dirt and moisture getting trapped between.

1/2"-1" front level - what to get and any issues for a 2017 Yukon?

I am still on factory shocks. 40K miles. Will see how it handles on the beach this spring and see what I will do from there.

1/2"-1" front level - what to get and any issues for a 2017 Yukon?

Have had no issues with CVs in almost 10K miles on the 2019, its my wife's daily driver and our neighborhood has about 15 massive speed humps we go over at least twice a day and no contact or anything.

Heavy duty coil springs 2008 yukon xl

Heres a pic of my Tahoe on 33s with the MOOG springs and a whatever ACdelco shocks that rockauto said were Heavy duty (not really though). car and trailer are probably 5,000 plus a week's worth of luggage, golf clubs, tools, and a full cooler in the back. The 2" level really makes the front...

if you dont want the full level from say a Rough Country 2" spacer you could get this one off ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Steel-Front-1-Lift-Kit-Chevy-Avalanche-Suburban-Tahoe-07-2WD-4WD/272844956810?hash=item3f86d3a48a:g:qe8AAOSw-URZuGXD:sc:USPSPriority!19810!US!-1 probably will fit your...

Heavy duty coil springs 2008 yukon xl

I put the MOOG 80169 in the back of my tahoe 2WD, picked up a little lift to offset the front leveling kit I installed. would be a good spring to pair with the Yellow Bilsteins or the Red KYB monomax shocks which are made for loads.

08 5.3, runs smooth in park/neutral rough idle in gear

Thanks for the input. I will take a look at the Throttle body and MAF again this weekend. I figure with 185K, and ownership for 100K its probably time for something that needs more than normal tune up stuff. I fogot i have the torque app on my phone with the bluetooth reader, will throw it in...

08 5.3, runs smooth in park/neutral rough idle in gear

02 sensors, spark plugs, and wires were all changed a week apart to check for any improvements. Idle issue did not disappear. The parts were due though so not a total waste.

08 5.3, runs smooth in park/neutral rough idle in gear

As stated, 08 tahoe with 185K, runs great, idles smooth in park or neutral when the RPMs are a tad over the "500" dash, but put it in gear and the idle drops a needle below the 500 mark and seems to get an intermittent miss and RPMS will bump around a bit. very random, no rythm or pattern...

    2008 Tahoe-What to look for

if it was like new it would have been washed and polished up and presented it to you that way, all the pictures in the ad are dirty, you can even see the dusty interior in the ad. The pictures conveninetly are cut off where the dash is cracked, and cut off where the seat wear is. Not sure why...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I've learned to live with the cracked dash on my 08, it started cracking in 2013, a year after it was purchased used. sucks to look at but I think the way its all designed even if you got a new dash from GM it would probably crack again down the road. We traded an explorer in, and they had a...

Fits pretty good. Not bad for 40. Seat belt slits are not perfect, but good for a universal cover

    Recommend a rear seat cover

Just purchased this one for my 2019... showed up today. can reply back tomorrow on fit.. has 5 star rating and like 2,000 reviews, figured it was an ok buy. Was not looking to spend a bunch on something form fit. Its made for dogs, so figure it should be ok for cheerios, juice and whatever else...

Can I swap my 2019 stock struts to 2008?

Part numbers are obviously different, but not sure what all is different between the 2015+ and NNBS tahoes. Things look pretty identical. both are standard LT suspension packages I want to upgrade my 2019 to bilsteins, but also need to replace the struts on my 2008. Hoping to kill 2 birds with...

2019 YUKON - Halogen to Xenon or LED?

No input on HIDs but LEDs are pretty common and easy to do without drilling. WAY better than halogen. I personally run HIKARI from Amazon. I am sure there are better ones out there but $40 got me plenty of light thats a decent color temp to match my running lights

    2015+ suspension different than NNBS?

Part numbers do not seem to be the same online, compatibility charts say no, but is there really any difference between the struts and rear springs / shocks from NNBS to 2015+? things look very identical. I have a 2008 that needs some new struts/shocks. and a 2019 that could use an upgrade to...

ZW7 suspension (Smooth Ride) rides high in the rear

do you also have the G65 code? if not then you do not have the Nivomat self leveling rear shocks. there has been some chat recently on here about the ZW7 stuff, seems most of us have the regular blue shocks. I would probably bet that your front struts are worn and that is where the bigger...
