Long term owners of BlackBear Autocal tunes.

I'm seriously considering pulling the trigger on a Blackbear autocal today but would like to hear from members who've had one for awhile. And I can't find any members from California who've done it.

Shopping Now - What Would You Buy?

I bought a 2012 XL Denali with 89k on the clock almost 2 years ago for about 18k. I'm at 108k now and have had the rear shocks, spark plugs and wired and tires changed. No issues with AFM yet. We love this thing. I've owned several NBS Tahoes, Burbs and XL's and I don't think I'll buy ever...

Randeez 2012 Budget Yukon Denali Build (stick on hood scoops galore)

Pardon my ignorance, but is the 4l80 better than the 6l80 for your application?

    Warranty DEDUCTIBLE?!

Kinda, for example, he told me it covered brakes and after reading the contract it covers all the brakes parts except consumables.

    Warranty DEDUCTIBLE?!

Yes, and I was excited to take the truck home. Didn't read it closely. Just perused it.

    Warranty DEDUCTIBLE?!

The one I bought has helped, but in reading the contract again there are things I thought were covered which are not.

    Warranty DEDUCTIBLE?!

Bad decision. Too many maintenance items not covered.

    Warranty DEDUCTIBLE?!

$5K total. I paid $2600 so when I use it all I will have saved $2400.
  13. itsbo1313

    Warranty DEDUCTIBLE?!

I bought an extended warranty with zero deductible and it covers most maintenance. The $5k cap was the catch.

Could this be the reason I poured water on the roof above the passenger door.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Yes, not many good options in this town. It's circling the drain.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Hemet used to be a retirement town and I think the local independent tech's are taking advantage.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I thought that too, but in this town the independent's are higher. I got gouged for $1400 for rear Arnott's by a local. It was covered under warranty so I didn't care much.

    Future 2020/21 Tahoe/Yukon/Suburban

That's why I haven't jumped ship yet. But a co-worker has one with a tune and basic bolt on's making almost 600hp. Very tempting.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I know, and it still stings accepting the reality of not doing most of my own maintenance anymore.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

$306 labor, $95.20 plugs and $144.55 wires. My back doesn't let me do it myself anymore.

    Future 2020/21 Tahoe/Yukon/Suburban

I'm pretty sure the Tahoe is the best full size. I have been considering an Expedition MAX because of the ecoboost v6.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I had the spark plugs and wired replaced by the dealer. $500. They recommended a coolant flush and replace all the hoses for $1200. The $500 for the plugs and wires was high but at actually laughed at the coolant/hose price!
