Does it need a tank of premium higher octane ethanol gas. Or premium without ethanol ? Any pointers ? It really hits the RPMs hard at launch with 4:10s. Made some 2019 navigators get depressed at the stop lights one Volvo guy look at me like what hells going on. [emoji106] Just burned guy at...
After having G80 4x4 I don't know why all 4x4 don't have it . It goes throw alot crap . [emoji106] Really tears up the mud .

They sealed good we'll see if any leaking in near future I have 40psi in now 235 85 16 it's still pretty harsh ride empty ..could I go down to 35psi ? 10 ply it corners and rides way nicer on tar roads . Steers way easyer. Then the 265 70 17s it kinda gives it the look of cross between GMC...
Putting them 10 ply tires on the rim is something else there super tight going on I got bunch chips and scratch's to deal with . Ya commercial 10 ply tires are pretty much a perfect rims enemy. That bead barely goes on . There super stiff tire . You couldn't have enough soap lube on...
Yes you know I have a 2002 Cadillac DeVille with a base stereo not Bose it has 8 speaker system sub in middle of back deck center one in front to . And it makes the 2006 Yukon XL SLT Bose 6 CD changer. Sound pretty Lame I was disappointed. But It might be alot to do with smaller space ...
It's like no mids and no thump in the Bose .. there always issues with small speakers . I'm going try adding real sub and bigger speakers and see what happens . [emoji15][emoji849]

I have a 5.3 L 4:10 it's a stop light launcher . You need to becareful with G80 posi . The rear will brake loose pretty easy ya both wheels and slide to the side at launch . And yes rigs with 4:10 seem to last longer this reason I think it 200 rpm more keep the bands tight in tranny that's my...
If you see a great deal on tires check date code there probably a year old . They had that tire for $99 because it's coming up on year old .

Look at date code it's shocking I got 2 tires look new but date code says 2005.. If your going stress a tire towing and hauling there's only about 10 year window but no cracks otherwise your going deal with a blowout .. Its just reality ..

Just wait till I get these off and strip and make that aluminum look like chrome . I'm pretty close to Jersey rim on steel rims . That was a bigger project then I wanted it to be .

Na take tire off might need to be cut off if your real lucky go buy 4 gallons of vinegar and cut 55 gallon barrel in half put enough water in to cover rim leave it in for week wire brush . Pull out soak in baking soda . Paint asap .. Rim be just like new just bit lighter.... It's a salt belt...
Anyone know the max PSI of these rims can handle let me know . One place says 100 psi other said 80 psi and I can't find it on rim .. might be rusted where numbers are and I never know .

I just clear coated my steel rims .
Clear coat some pretty tuff stuff ( sanded it alot ) . I was thinking on putting extra coat on the inside lip of rim right where the tire bead seals on . To stop rust from gathering there . Has anyone tried this ? After sanding clear coat it made me think it...
Well there is 2 good coats of sandable primer filler .
Both coats wet sanded ..first and second coat. It's amazing if you want to build up so you can get to mirror finish you need to do alot of wet sanding with 2000 grit I say I will need to sand 1/2 off the second coat of clear to get there ...
I will put money on exhaust leak I'm not giving up . lol I know it's a freak ya out sell the truck noise ..
I did notice guy I bought my Yukon from had it warm before I showed up ya 2 times . I was like look at exhaust and 2 exhaust bolt heads were gone . Mines at 15 miles all ticken and...
Get the exhaust manifold fixed. It's cracked or bolts are missing it's not lifters I have the clone of your sound . Yes after warms up it's quiet you will hear it both sides louder on one side bolt heads will be missing or try wiggling the bolts you might end up with it in your hand I tell them...
Nailed it .. need couple more passes of wet sanding for perfect . Im not saying time I spent . But I did learn better quality paint is first thing I will do different . Rust-Oleum there is good and bad cans old and alot of mystery . I had one good can of black gloss those 2 rims look perfect...
