$64 for 8-Quart Full Synthetic Oil Change at local GMC dealer

Does sprite and Pepsi count? I actually will get it done right after they perform some recall work on it.

Is clicking from the front suspension normal?

Yours didn’t have its engine replaced did it?

$64 for 8-Quart Full Synthetic Oil Change at local GMC dealer

Figured it’s worth it for the sake of time. I usually do them myself. But with winter etc, I don’t care enough to do it myself at the moment.

$64 for 8-Quart Full Synthetic Oil Change at local GMC dealer

It’s my local GMC dealership, not an independent mechanic. Doubt they’re keeping old motor oil and filtering it lol. Secondly, the oil they are offering for this deal is Dexos 1 ACDelco full synthetic.

Thoughts on 25 Yukon Denali giant screen?

IMO, 21-24 Denali screen is the best looking design of the bunch. It has aged very well.

$64 for 8-Quart Full Synthetic Oil Change at local GMC dealer

I usually change my own oil but for $64, I think that’s a pretty good deal. Agree or disagree?

Software update that must be performed at a dealership

Maybe they didn’t hook it up to a battery tender when performing the update?

Software update that must be performed at a dealership

N2424355631 Got the same letter just now in the mail. Called the local dealer and they said they have to reprogram the CAN gateway due to it potentially draining the battery during OTA updates.

    2022 Tahoe Automatic Emergency Braking

I’ve had my ‘22 Yukon apply the emergency brakes in forward and reverse before. It’s quite jarring, but definitely works.

    2024 Yukon Denali Diesel impressions

Have a hard time believing that Blue Cruise is better than Super Cruise. First time hearing someone say this. Most of the complaints sound like nitpicking. Compared to our previous ‘20 Expedition, our ‘22 Denali is heaps better. Better infotainment, better transmission programming, nicer...

    DFM disabler released

I never lost phone pairing or seat memory when I pulled the negative lead on my ‘22 a few months back.

2021 Yukon with roaring noise while turning left or right at slow speeds

A wheel bearing possibly? Pretty early for one to fail, but a roaring sound when turning is usually a classic symptom of a bearing gone bad.

    Leaving Ford Expedition Behind

Both my previous expedition and current Yukon have 22’s. Had no issues with regards to tires when it comes to towing. Don’t let wheels determine your purchase. Pick up the spec you want and the decide whether or not you need to change out the wheels.

    Leaving Ford Expedition Behind

@skydiver An easy trick is to open a free carfax car care account. In there you can add your prospective vehicle in and it’ll show you its service history.

    DFM disabler released

I forget if this was answered, but is there any way to know if DFM is working? I can’t tell on my at all. I don’t hear any sound and don’t feel anything. So either it’s that good or maybe it came without when my engine was replaced last year. I’m sure it’s just that good but still wanna know.

Popping sound when accelerating from stop with turned wheel

Alright, finally! They found the issue for real this time. Reproduced the clunk consistently. Put it up in the air wala! The sub frame bolts were loose on this thing. The previous dealership that replaced the engine didn't torque them down. Just picked up the truck from the dealer and drove it...

'21 YukonXL Denali-Click/Pop/Tick from wheel assembly

Finally! The sub frame bolts were loose on this thing. The previous dealership that replaced the engine didn't torque them down. Just picked up the truck from the dealer and drove it home - zero clunking!

Popping sound when accelerating from stop with turned wheel

Just got the call from the dealer. The technician went out for another drive this afternoon and was able to consistently reproduce the annoying clunk matching my earlier video. I am told that the issue is a defect on the CV axle from the manufacturer, specifically the c clip on the end of the...

Popping sound when accelerating from stop with turned wheel

She's back at the dealer and so far they haven't been able to replicate the sound as of this morning. I asked them to try driving it when it's warmer later in the day as I noticed that I don't hear the sound when I first start driving it in the mornings. Also told them to take it to a nearby...

    Larger gas tank

It wasn't a full tank, but it was empty in short order after the fact. I believe it drops to about 1000 miles on a full tank if you tow a lot.

    Larger gas tank

Back when I had my '22 Silverado with the LM2, I was getting 12-13mpg whilst towing my 6500lb camper. That dropped to about 9mpg with the 6.2 in our Yukon. Kind of an apples to oranges comparison since they're not the same vehicle, but ya, that little diesel kicked ass. And yes, it ABSOLUTELY...

    Larger gas tank

I made the mistake once by buying the standard wheel base Expedition back in 2019. Towed a 4500lb single axle camper to Yellowstone and it couldn’t even go 200 miles before we had to stop and fill up thanks to the puny 24 gallon tank it had. Granted, 28 gallons in the Expedition Max or Yukon XL...
