It's either the bearings or the gears in the rear end....my 2008 had the same problem.
Good news is, if it's less than 5 yrs or 100K miles old, it's covered under GM's powertrain warranty.
You need the ISGM571 and the ISBT21. It will come with all the necessary cables.
Installation involves pulling the bezel, removing the cigarette lighter and AC panels and then the radio (about 12 bolts total). It's plug and play. I secured the two boxes under the carpet on the passenger...
Anyone else having rear-end issues in their Tahoe or Yukon?
The back-story....truck is a 2008 LT3 / 4x2 / 3.42. Rear end starting whining at 36K....lived with it until about 50K when it was so loud that it was unbearable. Dealer rebuilit it under the 5/100 Powertrain warranty.
It's been...
I go to Walmart or Costco....6 qts of Mobil 1 for less than $30. My dealer charges $15 for the filter, labor and disposal. And he has a lube rack just off the service drive and doesn't care if I stand and watch. Can't ask for much more than that....
It's nothing more than a cover. Nothing behind it. The good news is if you upgrade the cluster to one with a transmission temp gauge, it will work as soon as you plug it in.
I've got the tray as well.....I like to throw my phone in the console cover indentation. If I have to open the compartment, the phone is headed for the back seat floor.
I'm actually going the other way...purchased the open cubby from a member here on the forum and it should arrive tomorrow.
The second compartment in the Denali one (same as the one in your 2nd pic) is useless for anything other than pens and business cards. Right now I have to keep the...
Nope...2010 was the first year it became standard...and with it the two different versions, depending on whether or not the RSE box was checked on the order.
I have a CPO 2010 Denali with the 6.2....actually found it in SW Florida and drove down from Atlanta to get it.
I have the shudder/stumble at idle as well. Seafoam and a couple tanks of premium helped, but only marginally. My dealer suggested cleaning the throttle body, and doing it has...
We added an iSimple Bluetooth/iPod hookup to our 08 Tahoe. It works well....steering wheel controls are compatible and caller ID comes through on the radio screen.
Blend doors - buried up in the dash. If memory serves me correct there are 3 of them, but I could be wrong. They divert the heat to the floor and/or the defroster vents. They are prone to getting stuck.
I dipped my toe into the Certified GM pool about a month ago with this Denali....first non-new car I've purchased in 20+ years. So far so good....and if you look at it, you can't tell it from a brand new one.
In this part of the country, most of the ones that are put into rental fleets do...
It looks like you are correct....xxx0267 lists for the Tahoe and xxx0272 lists for the Yukon. The only difference must be the startup logo.
Thanks for clarifying...now I can narrow my search :)
Answered my own question....the xxx0267 units are for Sierras and Silverados while the xxx0272 units are for Tahoes and Yukons.
I would have thought the seats were the same, but apparently they aren't.
I saw those and they are a great deal, but they are listed with a different part number (22840267 as opposed to 22840272.) Any idea what the difference is?
I'm rolling on the stock Alenza's...they have about 45K on them and probably will be good for another 7-8K.
I put a set of Cooper Discoverer HTPs on the wife's 08 Tahoe (17s)...a lot less $$$ than the Michelins and have a 65K treadwear warranty. So far so good, but they only have about 5K so...
SS, is that an item you can sell? From your website, it looks like you deal primarily with wheels and tires. I'm seeing wild swings in price for the GM factory (19244252 - or new part number 22840272) units online....
Just traded on '06 Denali with 157K on the odometer for a '10 Denali with 40K miles under the GM Certified Program.
The '06 held up well....of particular note was the fact that it was still on the ORIGINAL front brakes when I traded it. The rears were replaced at 136K. The only things that...
