    Another diesel i had lost a turbo. And they can last from the end of the warranty one hundred k to way later on a diesel. Its a big job if you do it yourself. I was lucky on that turbo crash as it did not into the intake… I would much rather have a 5.3 and move on.

    I have had a lot of toyotas... and a few Lexus. i had the old 400 lexus. good and solid. but you had to take off the intake to change out the starter.. not great. have had three yukon/tahoes. solid. not much difference in reliability for me. had several toy trucks. lots of rear and trans issues...

    Many of the "high mileage" versions are not Dex oils.. which your GDI engine needs.. 0w20 Dex is what you need.. per warranty... This dex makes the oil hold up longer with direct injection soot...

    I have one installed for two days… after a few minutes to warm up.. you no longer see 99 in the miles per gallon… when you let up. Maybe you see 70 or so.. it does work after 40 mph too.. auto start killed off too… Horay!!!

    Yes.. you need to add some ballast resisters.. I think they are 10 ohms.. that will keep the computer satisfied. The leds do look great compared to incandescent.

    i think mpg is worse.. if you are comparing E10 to E10 after '22... e10 is now actually E15.. current administration helped out the farmers upping the mix to 15%.... even though the tank says is it is 10%...

    I did get a '23 in January for $4k off the sticker... and two others were also after it.. i doubt you will see much in Tahoes.. that makes you feel like like a home run. On the other hand.. mine is really a nice machine.. and i did have an '05 Yukon. Big step up in every way.
