Ramjet 350
I have the Ram jet 350 in my rig. It was installed as a crate motor. I bought it this way so it is hard to compare but I do like it and it definatly has enough power to roast the tires.- lilJohn

so bad news for my tranny
I just went through this samething. now granted I have a 700R4 but I can tell you this pull the codes it can be the tps. personaly mine was much worse. you can see my discussion in the genral box titled tranny wont shift.- lilJohn

New shoes!
Ya its a 07 VLX.. she is my first child.. She has seen more upgrades than both hoes put together. getting her to the lake in the summer is always my number one priority. I know I can go with helper bags but I do not want to waste lake time airing up and airing down. my local shop says the minute... -

New shoes!
Will I loose my towing ability with either of those kits? I tow all summer long 3-5 times a week to and from the lake. boat weight is around 5500#.. I know I can tow it with hoe 2 but when the whole family goes hoe 1 is a must! -

Well I Finlay came across what I thought was a good deal on some new shoes for hoe1. 375 with no rubber. but I needed new rubber for the stockers anyways. so I was gonna pay for that part either way. anyways now that she has shoes I really think she needs to be leveled out. any suggestions... -

Tranny won`t shift!
OK time to update- I have been schooled in the tranny dept. my rig now has a built to the tilt 700R4 tranny. the original tranny (4L60) while built well had just seen too much horse power for to long. the actual failure came from the pin that holds the band in place breaking but upon tear down...- lilJohn

Expedition center console
I know the ford thing but I was looking at it like its made in some factory and it just so happened to go in a ford but fit well in a tahoe. The color is a non issue anything can be painted. Any other suggestions for consoles in our hoes? -

Help with sub box design.
Here is a great calculator if you wanna do a slot ported box. It will tell you everything what it is tuned to and better yet a cut sheet so you know exactly how to build it. I have done three boxes for my boat using this calculator and they have all been very successful...- lilJohn

I saw this over on the FSC forum wondering if any of you have done it and if so how do you like it? I had an expedition so I know the console well. It is big and has alot of room just wondering how it feels in the hoes? It looks like a snug fit and appears to line up with the arm rest very nice... -

95t- My rig is a 97 so it came with and is wired for the 4l60E. the problem comes from the motor swap. the ram jet 350 was intended to be a motor to go in old hot rods and rock crawlers. thats what I am hoping. the tranny shop is concernerd with the current set up due to the fact that it is an electronic transmission and the motor does not send out any sinals it is a stand alone computer and was meant to bolt to a 460l not the 460le.. I might be searching for a stand alone...- lilJohn

blue flame- tried the battery deal. no dice Im thinking broken spring or stuck valve. Jp- I just bought the rig I havent personaly put more than 500 miles on it and the previous owner Im sure put the tranny thru her passes. I know it was blown out at 80k but that was due to a supercharged...- lilJohn

Well I hope it is not a rebuild. My appointment is for thurs. to have it looked at and every one I talked to after hearing what it was doing said the same thing it is a sensor or selinoid and it is just a matter of finding wich one it is.- lilJohn

Tranny won`t shift!
So I woke up this morning and headed to work and all of a sudden my tranny wont` shift. The RPM`s will hit the roof and as soon as I lift off the gas it will shit. I f I try to pass some one and get on the gas it will down shit and redline to motor.. can some one please tell me what to look for...- lilJohn

The previous owner had rats painted on the fenders holding a bow tie that says trn & brn. While that was great for him when he had the supercharged LS6 under the hood the current 350 dosen`t warrent any type of rat and as the new owner I want the rats gone. Anyone know how to removethem and not...
