Looks like we're in for higher gas prices in the foreseeable future. Does that make the Duramax an even better choice?

Diesel fuel expensive ? Check out the federal excise tax on diesel compare to gasoline. No one is paying attention to whats going on in NK and Iran. I see much higher fuel prices on the horizon.

I should have been more specific (ADD) The site only takes Visa. I don't have a Visa card. Borrowed my daughters Visa card and completed the sale.

    To level or not?

No I can't , I raised my lowering springs back up with spacers, I should have put the stock springs back in. Go to any of the places that offer 2" lowering springs for the Tahoe and pick one out.

    To level or not?

The rear can be dropped 2" with a simple coil spring change without changing or cutting anything else out.

    To level or not?

Yes been there.Dropped it with Belltech 2/4 kit didn't like it. You have to cut out the rear bump stop and bracket. I wound up lifting the front and rear back up. STAY away from Belltech shocks, I still got to change them out. Rough ride. The only thing I was happy about with my suspension mods...

    To level or not?

If I had to do it all over again , put a simple 2" spacer on the front and call it a day.

Won't pose a problem. Some tuners I have used clip the wide band in the exhaust by the bumper and tune away. BBP did the 5.3 in my 06 & 11 Tahoes that way. I'm not a EFI tuner, but used to make a carb and distributor sing ! F.O.P.

Most likely they have the knock sensor riding the spark advance tables. That means the spark will advance till the knock sensor senses knock then it will back off the advance a hair till no knock is detected. Hope that makes sense. I do have a problem with my writing skills.

Those driveshafts are not meant to go triple digits. You'll need a larger diameter heavy duty balanced driveshaft. Many do get away with using the stock drive shaft's on triple digit runs. Drive shafts do fatigue and twist , not a pretty sight. Cheap insurance really.

The pits have a strange way of showing how much they like they're owner. Louie looks good for a 15 year old. He had a tough life before we got him. Rescue's never forget who rescued them.

Contact Black Bear on how that works, because I never really figured that out. I can say one thing that BB tune is very well worth the money. My tunes were done in person.
