Let me know if you find it. I was just talking to a buddy of mine today about having a hard time finding oem parts and not stuff made in China. He gave a link to New GM parts. May be working checking out to compare prices.
I felt the same way as you last year. Ended up tearing the whole block down and doing a rebuild. Turned out to be the seals. Once you turn off the motor the oil seeps past and drops into the combustion chamber. The type of oil you're running might also help to minimize the loss for the time being.
Somebody decided to obliterate the wife's hood with our own damn pumpkins off the step so I just finished detailing! Also bought a new hub from GM Parts and I'm hoping she goes smoothly enough to get her knocked out in an hour or two.

I'd personally argue against doing the pump for the tranny fluid. Instead I would just drop the pan and let it sit over night. Sometimes if the tech doesn't know what they are doing it can place a lot of pressure on the internals and cause things to break. Just in my experience though...I've had...
If you have an actually press it makes things a hell of a lot easier, but you can always get creative if you don't have one. You're definitely looking at half a days work if you've never done them before.
