01 Tahoe tune incoming, what (cold) air filter and exhaust?

According to AEM's website, that should fit your truck. I never looked into it, but, apparently, all of these trucks from '99 to '20 take the same filter.

And does anyone know what the difference in the Airaid MIT's are for mechanical and non mechanical cooling? Is it because it will hit the mech-fan or is it because of radiator space? I would like to know if I can order the e-fan MIT 200-919 for e-fans? I haven't been able to find a second hand e-fans, so that will come as soon as I will find a decent set. But knowing I want to go e-fan, I'm not really want to order the MIT twice. 200-912 is the mech one..

It's hard to see in the pictures, but the 200-919 one looks like it has less dept, but that is it with pictures, always hard to make decisions based on photo's.

Yes, the shape of the tube is formed to clear the electric fans. I'd imagine that the one meant for the e-fans would fit with a mechanical clutch fan, but the one for the clutch fan won't fit with e-fans. So, you should be able to install it if you get it before the fans.

Cool, i'll just go for the 200-919 since I will stay searching for e-fans, easy mod to release some more horses and torque, but not sure when I will find one.. But then I know what to choose from :) THanks

This will cost me including shipping and taxes about €250. Finally got a decent calculator now. But it is a unknown Brand. Though you also never know what a second hand e-fan will do. Haven't found one yet so I don't know how much they will cost second hand in the Netherlands when one comes by on the market places..

This one is 28,08 width. Because otherwise my hoses will be in the way. Just took a look under the hood, the shroud might be in the way for the Airaid 200-919. But since it has already been cut, I wouldn't mind another little cut if necessary. Can't say that it looks it will hit the fan otherwise. Here some pictures. One reason to remove the LPG is also all the computers and extra hoses that are now under the engine. I like it as tight as possible. And my system is kinda two times a 4 cilinder LPG package on each side with 4 injectors.

WOW, thats the maybe most horrible LPG install I saw, I bet the installer also drill hole into rear fender for tank cap.

Yeah the previous owner got the cheapest one. The evaporator is too small, cutting at 3000rpm and jumping to gasoline. And since I like the power a lot more on gasoline and continuing driving on LPG will eventually need new valves and head repair after like 150k. Because the first Vortec engines don’t have hardened valves! And it will lighter my truck up more and can make a proper engine bay :)

I thought the old small blocks with iron heads does not have hardened valve seat.
With LPG the problematic were some heads from 2003 year with bad casting.
Mine were on LPG for 10y, so hope for no damage :(

But yeah, after tune I got almost same MPG as I have in WJ Grand Cherokee. And now with cheaper fuel in EU, I have not used LPG for almost a year.
