03 seats in an 01?

Local guy has some seats from a 2003 hoe, the ones with fold down arm rests. I have a 01 suburban. Does anyone know if they are a direct swap? Also his passenger seat is not power where mine is, is it possible to take the base off of mine and mount it to his? Just wondering if anyone has done this and could provide some insight before i go pulling seats out and apart.

from what I get 01-02 have different wiring harnesses so wiring will be the issue but Pachanga02 has put 04 seats in his 02...he might be able to help you

from my research (and I've read just every post on it), the 01-02 wiring harness is different, but will work with minimum splicing. They have extra connections for memory/heated seats.
Tahoe seats will work in Sub/Yuk XL, however sub/Yuk XL will not work in tahoe/Yuk's
I am not sure about swapping out the base though.
