Update,
The next upgrade will be adding electric fans. I read somewhere on this forum that the Silverado 2500 truck's electric fans pull more CFMs, can someone confirm?
I'm looking at the total cost of an OEM setup vs the Flex-a-lite electric fans(no ECU programming required). I've used them in the past and had no issues other than being loud. The truck is already loud, so I would not really hear them running. For an OEM SUV or truck, I would not recommend the Flex-lite-fans.

Scored some HD oem fans last week from Offerup for $80 bucks. Purchased a new fan wiring harness from ebay for $70. Bought the 34" radiator from Autozone today. Remove the old stuff out today and will finish the mod tomorrow.

Did you already get the pin turned on in the PCM?

Update,

Installed the fans and wired them. Problably the easiest mod ever.

I did use LSXmatt's video as a guide to pinning the ecm.

Another thing I did was removed the old crusty and flaking wiring harness loom that runs on the frame rail by the drivers side and re-loomed, I also wrapped it with tesa heat tape.

I also need to do this repair to my Yukon

Hopefully that harness doesn’t melt when it’s real hot out like mine did. Keep an eye on the wiring on the relay pack, mine melted right next to the relays. Twice. The last time left me stranded-it was 100* outside and I was 75 miles from home. Thank god for AAA+. I ended up buying a used OEM harness from @ScottyBoy here and have had no problems since.
