No Yukon or Tahoe have them, wow, so I guess parts stores and junk yards are a bunch of wackos selling you stuff that doesn't exist, ok keep us posted man, sounds like you may have your culprit if everything else checked out.

First of all, never disconnect your battery or clear codes until the problem is fixed, or you made a repair, documented the data relevant and want to see if the code pops back up. Step one is NEVER clear the codes/freeze frame data.

Run a redundant ground to the Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) module. A Black wire, pin 15.

See what happens.

Welcome bud. SLCHOE did you read the thread? His wiring checked out, tac was cracked and connector was broken, putting in another tac and splicing new connector.

Just touching base with you guys on the issue.

She is running and purring like a 6.0 should. I was so relief when the TAC was the last straw for this issue. I can actually have a life now.lol

Awesome buddy. Glad it all worked out, lots of people spend tons of money at the stealer or even diy and still have the issue. Have fun with it.

And the problem begins guys:(


After a month of no problems the dreaded Reduced Engine Power message came on as well as the CEL. Checked the codes and getting only 2 codes both which are P2135 throttle/pedal position sensor/switch A/B voltage correlation.

I have switched back both the Original pedal sensor along with the TPS sensor on the body to no luck. I did erased the codes and it took about 2 weeks for it to come back on with the Reduced Engine Power message. I have checked the new pigtail harness that got replaced on the throttle body along with the new connector on the TAC module.

I can erase the light and it will take about a week or two before it comes up and as soon as I erase it works perfect for another 1-2 weeks.

I am not sure if I should replace the TAC module with another one or replace the Throttle body harness with a OEM from the junkyard. I am running out on options here. The only thing I never replaced was the whole the throttle body assembly but It looks like I can rule out that since the beginning of the problem.

Just bought another TAC. I will wait and see if this fixes the Intermittent code p2135 that comes up. If this does not fix it all thats left to replace is the WHOLE throttle body but somehow I dont think that might be it.
