I just did this last week to my 04, nice subtle upgrade. I used double stick tape and pop riveted it, then painted it and all the other plastic pieces of the front bumper black. One of the less expensive mods to do.....

I used heavy duty zip ties lol
Only cause I have another air dam piece I'm putting on later after I paint it. Then I will line everything up better while it's off the truck and use plastic rivets so in case I hit a ditch those break off instead of the lip





Either way glad you got it figured out, so far one of my best mods for my tahoe. I get compliments on it all the time and even a confused few think it's a hd clip, probably cause its all one color and the black makes it look tall or something lol idk

Just installed my lower valance yesterday and I love it. It kinda stops short on the sides maybe an inch and a half from the wheel opening
