brad postedin one of my threads i set him up. I wil have him come on here. He had the kildermans or wahtever set up on it and didnt like ride plus only like 2 inch drop at ride height. He put these in and said sits lower/rides better and best of all due to the tbss bag design you can tow 6500 lbs

I'd also like to see some pics of a NNBS SUV with these installed. Especially laid out...

I originally installed a 2/3 kit on my Suburban, but recently went 3/5. If I can get even lower in the rear using the TBSS bags and not have a ****** ride like most with 6" rear springs, I'd go for it. It certainly is cost effective compared to most bag kits, plus I could air out and lay it on the axle when parked, etc., if I'm understanding this correctly.

Tony, am I correct that these will bring the truck down about 4" at ride height, but aired out they will sit the truck down on the axle? Also, I'd want to control both bags independently and not tee both lines together to run them to the compressor. How do you control each bag separately with only one compressor? Do you install shut-off valves in each line so you can fill each bag separate from the other?

My 6 inch springs ride great. No one tgat has my springs say they ride shirts so far.

The wireless air 72000 has independent control. Ride height will only be a 3 to 4 inch drop

Okay, so your 6" springs would ride better than these bags, so the only advantage to the bags would be the ability to air out when parked. Sounds like a trade off I'm not sure is worth it...I put a lot of miles on my truck with and without the family in it, so good ride quality is important to me. Might just have to stick with drop springs instead of these bags. Thanks for the info.

Right now I'm more at like a 3"/4.75" drop on the Suburban. I'm running 5305's which brought me down 4.25" in the back and then I removed both the upper and lower spring isolators on both sides and that gave me just about another 1/2" for a total of 4.75" of rear drop. Also running shock extenders, DJM end links, Eibach front and rear sway bars, Spohn adjustable panhard bar, and trailing arm relocators that I haven't installed yet. Also have all seats in place and the spare tire even though its useless because it won't fit over the big brakes. Lol.

This is where the truck sits now. Don't mind the trailer. Its not bringing the rear down in this pic because the truck is on a hill which leveled the rear back out. Fender height is the same in this pic as it is without the trailer. Thinking it would look better a little lower...

I've always been under the impression that progressive rate springs were better springs all around, including better ride quality? I also think my 5305's ride great and that they have always been known to be a great riding spring. I read tons of reviews on the 5305's by different members and one thing everyone was in agreeance with was that they offered a great ride. Seems odd that you're telling me that non-progressive rate springs are better than progressive rate springs. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just surprised because I've always thought the opposite was true.

Another reason I bought the 5305's was because I've seen you and other members post up that you could cut the dead coils off the top of the springs without affecting ride quality because they're just dead coils anyway. I figured if I couldn't get low enough on just the coils then I could always get lower just by trimming the dead coils.

BTW Tony, if you don't mind me asking, who makes your custom 6" rear springs? Is it DJM or Belltech or someone else?

I'm almost at exactly where I wanna be in the rear. I'm at 4.75" of rear drop right now, but I'd like to get another 1/2" lower in the rear just to level the truck out perfectly. I think the 6" rear springs might bring the rear of my truck down a little too much. I just don't want that Cali lean. Lol. I hate when the rear is lower than the front!

You said rode bad in other post so was going off of that.
The 5305s for what they are ride well but if you go lower my springs ride better. Also my springs carry load better with helper bags since no dead coils. Either way if you dint mind a 3-4 inch drop at ride height do the tbss swap

Djm makes my springs per my spec because it's a 250 spring run vs 500 for belltech

I was always under the impression that progressive was more performance oriented to.
I just learned something new, hah.

Can you order custom spring (linear) rates?
Also, what are your thoughts on drop control arms? Are there any alignment issues with them?
