Well first things first. I went to the body shop today to get an estimate on what it'd cost to get the "outside back up to *****". Here's what it needs...

1. bottoms of both doors have rust starting on them so that needs attention
2. the rockers on both side have surface rust
3. the tailgate has a small dent near the handle and paint flaking off
4. the roof has rust at the edge against the windshield (didn't know this issue existed until I got to cleaning it up real good )

In a couple of weeks I'm supposed to drop the truck off and get that stuff fixed. I figured I need to get that stuff done first so that I can start with a clean slate before doing any mods. Before I drop it off I'm hoping to find the time to go over all the mechanical on it too and see what needs attention. It drives nice so hopefully there's not much **cross fingers**

It's all very minor to be honest and very small amounts. Just a small amount on several panels. The worst of it is on the roof and you can't even tell it's there without getting right up next to it. The body will essentially be a brand new OBS after this work is done which the guy says will take about a week and a half or so. I just figure I might as well get that stuff taken care of now so that I can focus on the fun part and not have to worry about it down the road when it's far worse.

1. New ball joints and pitman steering arm installed
2. She's officially insured
3. Should have plates on it by next week
4. Goes in for the aforementioned body work a week from Monday

Apparently there's a kit out there that'll allow for a Double Din to be put into a 95-99 OBS
