I've had my Denali for almost 3 years nowarrow-10x10.png. Finally got around to putting a 4" Ready Lift kit on it and some 315-70-17's. When I lifted it I deleted the autoride/auto level. I went with Bilstein 5100 shocks and struts. I did run into one issue with this lift kit on my vehicle. After it was installedarrow-10x10.png and put back on the ground the rear was 1.5" lower than the front. Ready Lift didn't seem to know or have any solution to this problem. It ended up being the rear coil springs. Apparently at least for my 08 the coil spring is differentarrow-10x10.png in an autoride vs non autoride. After we swapped springs it leveled right out. For the wheels I went with American Racing Baja 17x9 with a -12mm offset. Tires are Goodyear Duratrac 315-70-17 and it requiredarrow-10x10.png very minor trimming and a rubber mallet.

Looks great. How does the ride of the 5100s compare to the Autoride shocks?

The 5100's aren't bad but I think the autoride was better. My comparison though is stock ride height autoride vs 4" lifted 5100's. I'm sure I sacrificed ride quality just having the 4" lift but when hitting bumps etc the autoride was great! My choice to not use the autoride was for a couple reasons. One being pretty much double the cost of 5100's. Also my auto level stopped working, might've been the compressor but I didn't want to throw even more money into fixing that as well. This is my first lifted vehicle and it rides very well for what it is.

Get some fox shocks in the rear mine ride like a dream. I got an increase in quality from stock to lifted

Nice, did you have to install new drive shafts in the front? Not sure if that's the right name for them

No new drive shaft is needed. I think you might be asking about the CV axle shafts that go to the wheels? I didn't need those either. Majority of these lift kits use drop down brackets for the differential to keep angles in tolerance.

He was asking about a dual cardan driveshaft like I needed on mine. The standard driveshaft can't compensate angles from the differential to the transfer case when dropped down. That small of lift should have any issues. Think the diff only dropped 1"
