Have driven a few days on new shocks and am very pleased with the how it has changed the feel of the drive.

It's amazing how you take the word shock absorber for granted because I didnt realise until I put the new ones in that the old shocks absorbed NOTHING!

Lol another job ticked off the list!

Today I finally got around to flushing the powersteer fluid out. Was an easy job to do,just took me a while to get around to.

Did oil and filter after that as After doing a new valley gasket on Her a few weeks ago I was not happy running the oil that was in it as I believe it was contaminated with coolant.

Went for a drive and man!! I cant believe how good the steering feels! No one had done this for ages! Little jobs ayyy, make for a better ride for sure!

Next bit of fun I'm keen to apply is some headers. Looking at these shorties as I can hook them up to my existing exhaust system without having to commit to a whole system until it is in the budget.Screenshot_20210703-211035_Chrome.jpgI'm also looking at this for the rear end of the system, will look at a pair of hi flow cats at some stage to bring it all together. Screenshot_20210703-210852_Chrome.jpg just throwing some thoughts out about it, any input appreciated before I hit Send it!

Has been a busy week altogether.
Glad I got some jobs done on the Yukon.
Did oil n filter on the subaru today aswell and cleaned the wires n distributor cap on a mates Jeep. Fixed a miss it had for him but found an air leak in the injector seal on #2 cylinder so could be a good time for him to replace/upgrade them.

You guys need cats there? Even on an old vehicle like yours?
Why not long tubes instead of shorties?

No I can take them out but it will throw the engine light up unless I can find some one who can tune or delete it out.

Yeah that's why I was asking about the shorties. Is what the guy I got the shocks off was trying to sell me. Would rather a long tube myself.
Lol could drive it to the exhaust guy straight outa the caps!!!

Is 4th July here today and Matariki the Maori New Year!
We are out celebrating the morning and helping a local Iwi reclaim some land by planting native medicinal shrubs.
This is the hungy fire
Was lit about 1am to heat the steel and rocks before the meat and vegetables go in to cook in the ground for 5 hours.
The kai will be ready to eat around lunchtime. Am starving already!! Will be soo good!20210704_065127.jpg
