Our 2003 Yukon started having the surging problem after taking off from a stop and it progressively got worse. We removed both front ABS sensors and cleaned them to try that first and while in there replaced the front brakes and rotors. Took the truck for a ride and the problem was 100 times worse so we figure moving the sensors around must have caused the bad one to really act up. We started driving it with the traction control off so that it won't do the surging and the brakes make a humming sound almost like the brake fluid is bypassing under the floor. This happens quite frequently now. Can anyone please help out? We were trying to drive it with the traction control off until we had enough to buy the sensors/
Thank you in advance for any help.

Does the noise happen every time you take off from a dead stop? If so does the traction active message pop up on the DIC? Is the humming noise from the ABS? If so you`re moving in the right direction trying to replace the ABS sensors. I`ve never tried replacing the sensors, I just replace the hub bearings and it always fixes the problem.

I`m not sure what you mean about the brake fluid bypassing under the floor.
