The younglings in my welding class said the single 3” cutout ain’t loud enough. Pushing me to do dual 3” or a single 4”. If you were being pressured by ***** teenagers what would you do? Remember I need to cut and redo it anyway and I do have a 4” on the shelf
Is it loud enough for you? If not, throw that 4" in there. That extra inch can make all the difference....

What you don't really hear is the cam chop, I need to drop the idle down to 650 or so instead of 800-850 W/AC on and see if it chops more but I think it also has to do with the single exit instead of sperate exits per side. Of course this cam doesn't have any overlap either which means less chop but idk I feel like its chopped more in the past.

I probably won't do anything other than turn the 3" around and work on the v band leaks. Just thought it was funny that a cutout wasnt loud enough for the younglings, I guess they want open header these days.

My camaro is single and the effer has plenty of chop.

Its probably the idle being so high. Adding 100 rpm to my avalanche made it go from a slight "chop" to now it just sounds like it has a miss....But I think it smoother, even if it does sound like its missing here and there.

3" is plenty...or so I've heard

I definitely think idle has a lot to do with it, I'll mess with that later today and see what happens.

Then I guess no amount is gonna get it done.

Straight pipes, 6" front lift and 4" rear drop. How far will you go to impress the toddlers?

The best part of those setups is the loss of usable fuel tank space. Probably starts sputtering after a half tank when its up on its end like that.
