This is getting ridiculous, ac worked great for a week or two then suddenly quit completely. Today I resealed the front cover and tightened all the oil pan bolts which were very loose despite being torqued to spec. Checked AC and it had no pressure at all. Quick look at the line that’s broken 3 times now and yep, same spot it’s leaking out of. WTF!!!!!!

I’m beyond pissed off ac problems are the worst and this is getting to be too much.
are you still getting over pressure cut offs?

Got the line welded up, actually was pretty easy. I cleaned it with non-chlorinated brake clean, hit it with a stainless brush and went to town with 1/16” 4043 filler, 3/32” thoriated tungsten, glass cup with a gas lens, and 120amps through a miller dyNASTY 400.

Hopefully it doesn’t have any issues, I’m gonna replace the seals and loctite the bolt.

Well no pictures to add, but the AC line is working for now. It was blowing possibly the closest it ever has after 48ish ounces of Walmarts cheapest refrigerant. Drove about 60 miles today after doing the AC, need to check to see if the oil leak is gone after replacing the front seal.

Still need to track down the Efan problem but for now the driver side fan is working good on its own.

And today the pressure was too low to keep the compressor on so there must be a leak still. I saw a tiny bit of UV die around the line I welded but where the gasket seals not where I welded. Also saw a tiny bit around the sensor on the drier so I tightened both and cleaned them. Guess I’ll see what happens tomorrow.

I swear this thing hates me! AC has been blowing ice cold, tune is running fantastic, all for about what, three days? Headed home today I was getting it a bit since it rained and there’s no traction in second gear over 50%wot but I only spun and slide a few times then kicked the stereo up and was cruising home when…… REP! Had all 3 codes that usually point to TB, ground, or X link. Code wouldn’t clear and I was stuck dead in the middle of the road at night in a drizzle, because the truck would not start or stay running this time for whatever reason. So I had to hop out, pop the hood, disconnect the Tb connector, clear the code and go about my drive home. The TB is new as is the ground wire, the X link is only a couple years old and I don’t think it’s that. So what could it be throttle pedal sensor?

I just ordered one because I hate this shit.

That could be dangerous. Glad nobody ran into or over you. :)
