yea nah this is just a little robinaire machine iirc prob 20 years old lol
Yeah I meant for the new expensive Freon, whatever it’s called now. Just the Freon itself is a grand per car and he said the machine is so expensive that his small body shop can’t afford to buy one. Not sure what he’s gonna do.

Totally unrelated to this truck but I bought a ranger sometime ago and finally got going on the engine swap. Wasn’t sure what was wrong with the motor in it but was told “it’s toast” well I found out why.

Other then headers, what's up with the donor? Any mods to it?

That red paint duh!

Pretty sure it was a fairly new reman unit, it came out of a 95 exploader that the local FD used to cut the roof off in training. The reason I think it’s a newer motor is all the accessories look new, and the freeze plugs look new. I slapped the headers on for $250 because the exhaust was totally jacked and I wanted to start fresh. It also has the more desirable all aluminum intake instead of the plastic one that’s known to crack. I’m doing a nice Efan swap with a Chinese radiator that looks super nice. Other than that I just want the stock 160hp to chug along in the 1994 RCSB 5speed 4x4 chassis. Probably gonna get either 4.56-4.88 gears to turn the 32s maybe down the road up to skinny 35s.
