I don't have reading 500 pages in me. anyone wanna give a quick update on the manual swapped tahoe? that's pretty cool.
It underwent a gender change and soon is going to undergo another major surgery to have 4x4 added. All the parts breakdown from what’s currently installed is in the first post. I can’t even remember half of it or I’d attempt to post it here for you.

Drug a Jetta wagon about two hours today for a friend. I didn’t realize they put the 3.6l VR6 motor in those cars, supposedly it’s fast if it was working.

Anyway I’ve been thinking about buying a brand new trailer to haul cars on and here’s my list of wants. I’ve only owned one car hauler and some of y’all probably have some good experience to add to my wants list.

-16’+2 or 18’+2 dovetail
-Wooden deck steal frame
-6 or 8lug Torsion axles so the deck can be lower.
-Drive over or removable fenders
-Extra long ramps
-Protected lights
-Disk brakes
-Receiver at nose for winch mount
-Tie downs everywhere can always add in extra later
-Spare tire mount
-Small tool box for tire change stuff and straps

Anyone have anything else to add or things I should reconsider?

No real input since I've never owned a trailer but my brother has a nice hydraulic tilt trailer that's really nice. He could pull his lowered c6 on it with no issues. If you ever plan to haul something low, that would be something to consider

I’ve seen those and they are super mega awesome however……… it will very likely end up dragging ratchet stuff down long dirt roads and I’d be scared doing that with something so nice.

I also don’t want to spend $15k, I think I can get what I want for around 8-10.

Did stuff today
-Installed redhead box, one finger steering at idle now.
-OEM rear UCAs which weren’t really bad like I thought. I think maybe just the driver side bolt that goes to the axle was loose.
-New TBSS dudes rear endlinks but didn’t drill and move the sway bar over because my stuff fits fine.
-Swapped from $20 catch cans to my $300 Mighty Mouse and found out my nitrogen cylinder on my Tahoe hydroboost which I think is OEM. Is actually twice the size as my RCSBs which is from a duramax. It had clearance issues so I had to ghetto fab a bracket.
-Found ac sensor wiring issue, no idea why the wires are legit stripped.
-Did oil change to Rotella T6 and a Wix filter cause it’s hot down here and this thing suffers from kinda low idle OP. I also found nearly nothing on the magnet and he filter looked clean after 5k.
-Lastly, removed steering stabilizer. The shock seems fine but the rubber bushings are completely gone. I’d like to replace them with poly and maybe a Bilstein shock cause they are pretty. But if anyone has a link or part # to poly bushings I’ll just do that. Although I’m gonna drive it a bit and see if I think the stabilizer is even worth it.
