so I didn't look up what physical size your truck takes, but for reference. Google says a average 12v flooded acid car batter is 40-65 amp hour. to match that with a good quality lithium cranking battery, I looked up a group 24 anti gravity. the biggest they list is 60ah, 16lbs and costs 1049$. but they do have a built in jump box feature some find handy for project cars. Basically the bms shuts the battery off before it goes dead and you have a push button on the battery or a remote key fob to activate it. they says they last 10 years. so at least 2 if not 3 standard batterys at 200$ each.

plus as car guys we don't really always do mods that make any sense at all money wise. we just buy dumb things sometimes haha. (I recently late night impulse bought 2500$ headers lol and I care nothing about the hp improvements.) I do see lithium battery being used in the stereo world, but I don't follow it and it seems to be multi battery in the back to hold voltage up instead of the old caps.

First time I’ve ever had this truck on a lift and god it’s nice doing exhaust not laying on my back. Fixed all but one leak which is a Vband I plan to come back and cut off later and convert to a slip joint. Removed one muffler and ran the exhaust out the back with a turn down. It’s pretty hidden and I didn’t really care what the tailpipe looked like because I want to drive it awhile and see if I’m happy with everything.

I also cut and moved the cutout mount 5” higher up so it sits above the frame. Replaced the motor again too, seems they don’t last a really long time which is depressing because they ain’t cheap.
Overall very impressed how everything on the truck has held up, it’s been years now since I’ve done big mods to it and I still beat on it weekly.

Finally broke my window switch for my driver door. It had been acting up for probably a year now. It goes down fine but doesn’t go up because part of the plastic that pushed the actual activator broke off at some point. Well it got worse today and now I’m shopping for a window motor switch for a driver door.

Also snagged a cool pic of truck with said window being down cause broken.

Overheated the crap out of this thing the other day because I thought the gauge was lying to me. Well it wasn’t…….. turns out my coldcase radiator had a tiny leak that I think was coming from where one of the tubes meets the end tank. Of course it’s almost at the bottom of it and so it leaks even when not driving.

I contacted coldcase and they sent me a new unit for just the cost of shipping ($84). It arrived in two days and made it to work and back today so I’m happy about that. I think I’m gonna take the broken one to a local shop to have repaired so I’ll have a spare.
