OK ya'll. I have a vibration I need help tracking down. It's kinda hard to explain, but it's the kind you can hear, AND feel. Kinda like a reverberating feeling. It happens mostly at slow speeds if i'm slowing down to turn, or backing out of the garage. The things I've thought of, and already checked have yeilded me no success at remedying this vibration.
Here are the things i've already checked: exhaust, U joints, and motor mounts

Here's whats on my mind: fly wheel, convertor

I hope it's not anything major!

TIA, Brooks

really? Backing out of the driveway you can feel a vibration? What kind of frequency? I presume you'd notice if it was a tire at such a slow pace.

Could it be a bit of a mis-fire, like a bad coil or plug?
Can you go to a parking lot, get going in reverse so you can feel the vibration, then coast in Nuetral and hold higher engine revs to see if the vibration follows the engine speed or the vehicle speed?

I could try that, but it happens in forward gears, as well as reverse.

Any other suggestions? I checked the harmonic balancer and it seems to be good from what I could tell. . Is there a way for me to check the convertor without actually pulling it and sending it in?

I don't see where you separated engine caused vibration from drivetrain and rolling vibrations.

It does the vibration whether I'm moving or still.
