Why would anyone object to green?Keep in mind that if you use Red, Blue or Green lights, you need an insurance rider and a permit to run them. White and yellow are usually no problem.

In October I got to spend an unplanned afternoon just ahead of a blind curve. A friend had rolled his Yukon XL just around this corner, and it was mostly blocking the road. During the time I was there I had a state park ranger, a game warden, a deputy sheriff, and a state trooper come by responding to the accident.
