how well do these respond to a tune? I don't have much experience using it but have hptuners.
They respond pretty good to a tune, the 04+ with the electronic TB AKA drive by wire has some lag that can be reduced, fix the lousy factory Ford shifting by firming them up a tad and cleaning that up, there’s some hp gain on a stock motor I’d say maybe 10-15 nothing too crazy, and you can tune for other mods you’ve done along with if you’ve changed from the factory tire size or rear gearing, there’s a guy on FB that’s pretty popular with tuning these cars they call it the “Marty Tune “ his names Marty he owns Mo’s Speed Shop he sets you up with a tune depending on what you have done and what octane gas you run and ships out a SCT X4 programmer with your tune and can always change it for you down the road for more mods with the DBW cars you might need to adjust the tuning to get it right which he will do free of charge with your initial tune

I came across a set of mint sun visors off a 2011 Crown Vic so I picked them up and installed them, the 09-11 sun visors extend to the side to help block glare the early ones didn’tf8e468ffe396237a14683f4f202e0a9a.jpg

I’ve got a couple people up here that are always parting these cars out and the yards are full of them so finding parts isn’t really an issue, I’ll pass that link there way maybe one of them will pick it up, it’s a shame you can’t register it tho looks pretty decent

So got the hand held tuner yesterday and uploaded the tune, there was an issue with the PCM having a different processor code then what was on the outside so had to put the stock tune back on and they sent me a new tune latter on in the day and uploaded it and it’s good now I’ve got an 87 tune and a 93 tune so far I’ve just used the 87 tune, it’s a night and day difference the shifts are firmer and not as sloppy, there’s hardly any pedal lag with the DBW TB anymore, and there’s probably a 10-15hp gain nothing too crazy but it drives so much better now definitely glad I did it, and if I do any mods needing more tuning down the road they can send new tunes as needed I’m not really planning on anything other then possibly changing the rear gears but we will see

Picked up a couple things today, in the trunk there’s a void in the back where stuff can fall in but being that I have the Trunk Pack in there I don’t have the issue but figured I’d get it incase I ever take it out, it’s just a piece of foam that’s mostly found on the Lincoln Towncar and snagged one of those hockey puck antennas I might throw on the trunk lid
