Here is a link I found to a dash cap that is vacuum formed, has anyone tried this fix if GM wouldn't replace yours?

Looks like a better option then a carpet dash mat.

BTW, I just purchased my Tahoe and I'm new to the site. Not affiliated with the above company just looking for options since my local dealerships won't assist in the fixing of my cracked dash.

Im surprised that no one has responded here. I thought that with as big of an issue as the Tahoe dash cracks were someone would have either tried this already or be interested in it.

I am going to give this product a try, I will update my post when I receive it and will take plenty of pictures and do a write up on it.

Stay tuned if interested....

I haven't seen this before. Depending on the fitment, it could definitely be a good option for those with cracked dashes.

Damn looks exactly the same as the OEM. If it has the same texture I may just buy it.

I have used that type of product in the past on a cracked padded dash on a camaro. It's important to prep the dash well, cut or grind any high spots, wipe down with acetone and glue the heck out of it.

I would think a great but more expensive option would be to have a auto upholstery shop cover the dash with vinyl or leather and do a contrast stictching on the edges.
