2007 ltz

I am considering buying a 2007 LTZ that has pretty much every opton offered. I drove the vehicle today and it seems to be in wonderful mechanical condition and is extremely nice as far as looks go. It is a confirmed one owner by carfax and autocheck and has never had any accidents reported or odometer discrepancies. My concern is the mileage which is 116,500. Also there is an aftermarket trailer braking system so that tells me it was probably used to haul a heavy boat or camper. Obviously I will have a mechanic take a look before I purchase but I just wanted to get some opinions from you guys.

The asking price for the Tahoe is $23,989. Kelley Blue Book lists the retail price at $26,756.

If the original owner kept up the vehicle, then you should be fine as these trucks last a LONG time. Just get your mechanic to check it out and look for irregular oil consumption, cracked dash up front, peeling chrome on the interior door handles, and broken exterior chrome door handles. If you can pin point any of that stuff before hand and get the dealer to take care of it before purchasing the vehicle, you will save a lot of money. Good luck on your purchase!

I think the mileage is pretty high for an 07. If it is clean and all is in order, there is no issue with purchasing it but I also think the price MAY be a bit high. (Is it a 4x4?).

In comparison, I paid 23.5K for my 07 Suburban LT3, which is a 2 wheel drive and it had 64K miles.

I will sell you an 07 Yukon SLT with pretty much every option and 86,000 miles $24k.

Yhea, shop around. I just bought my 07 LTZ a few months ago with much half the miles for just a few grand more than that.

I believe the price is justifiable because a) it's on a dealer's lot; b) it has every option Chevrolet offered for a 2007 Tahoe with the exception of the autoride suspension and c) Kelley Blue Book agrees.

My concern is, if I take out a loan on this vehicle, is it going to outlast that loan. That is my only option to buy because I have a trade-in to work into the deal too.

i personally think thats too much.

i recently purchased my 07 yukon SLT for 25k even with 56k miles. well after tax title and license , was 26 800

and before this purchase and before i wrecked it, i puchased an 08 yukon SLT for 26,559 after tax title and license. not to mention it came installed with 6inch fabtech lift and had 59 *** miles
