I bought a new 2010 Avalanche a couple of years ago and recently noticed a rattle in the dashboard. Turns out that right in the middle of the dash, the cheap plastic clip that holds the two pieces of the dash together broke. I'm referring to the top of the dashboard, close to the bottom of the windshield. Now it rattles like a mother. Then, I noticed that there's an actual crack in the dashboard along that same seam, right behind the cluster.
Anyone have any similar issues? It's probably one of these things that I'm just going to have to deal with because I just went over 36k miles and there's no way I'm paying to have the entire dash replaced.
