I usually do mine twice a year, once in the spring to optimize it for summer fun time, then again in the fall to get bugs and leaves and crap out of it. That might be overkill but I usually do it during oil changes...doesn't add much time to the process and feels good to do everything at once.

I assume that these are serviced same as the K&N filters. Is the oil and cleaner are the same?
