Been reading on this forum and internets for 2 days straight trying to figure this damn Tahoe out for replacement suspension stuff. What a PITA. First I have 2011 Tahoe LT 4x4. It's the family vehicle, grocery getter. Bought it at GM dealer (certified) with 55K on the odometer and now has 160K.
I thought the suspension was original to vehicle but now I question everything. Positively I have 22755311 (AKA 540-631) rear shocks, and 25978750 springs installed on the vehicle now - I pulled numbers off the current shocks/springs.. These don't appear to match with the ZW7 rpo code though. Can someone confirm?
I'm going through maintenance items, and although no major issues, I have to believe these things are worn out by now. Want to maintain good ride, we rarely tow anything, only occasional dirt road during hunting season.
I want to replace the fronts with a quick coil over assembly if possible - recommendations?
For the rear should I just replace with the same shock? I have always replaced springs with shocks, and at 160K I think I should - recommendations.
Glove box sticker for reference.
THANK YOU!!!
