2012 Nav Map Disc

I am on Version 6.0 (2011), and am curious if 8.0 (2013) had any firmware updates or UI or color updates, other than just the maps?

I currently have the nav from a 2010 Tahoe put in my 2014 Tahoe. Right now it has the 5.0 disk in it. So If I order the 6.0, do I just replace the old one and it works? or is there special programming required?

@Cha0s13.. all you have to do is swap the new disc (in the nav DVD tray behind the screen) for the old one. It'll take a minute or so and then viola.. you have a firmware and map update.

You can then sell the 5.0 one to recoup some of your 6.0 costs, if you'd like
