My opinion, to each their own guys! The Tahoe wins on exterior looks and interior against sequoia. The Sequoia doesn’t even offer rear seat dvd/media. This dude in link says Sequoia wins on bigger front screen but I find a massive screen obnoxious. Of the big SUV’s I rank by looks Escalade #1 followed by Tahoe and Yukon then expedition. Had our 21 premier since last May and we love it, get a lot of compliments everywhere we go.

You need to add the 2022 Ford Expedition into the comparo since Ford's Build and Price configurator went live last week.

good topic here for sure. I think it has a lot going for it in terms of look and powertrain and the fact that it’s a Toyota and will probably sell like crazy. What I can’t get over though is the trunk space and the third row situation. Every other full size suv finally converted to a suspension that allows your knees not to be in your chest in that third row. I was on verge of Tahoe/Yukon vs the Suburban/XL and ended up deciding the regular size option was perfect now that they made it bigger this generation. I believe they went this route so it could share most components with the Tundra which I’m sure makes a lot of business sense for them but to me deal breaker. If this wasn’t the case I’d probably put it on the short list to be honest. I’m sure it will sell like crazy.

I’d have to say tho, the 22 Sierra Denali ultimate is sweeeeeet! I have my 22 Silverado HC TPW of 3/14 in that same color so I’m excited!

I want the Sequoia solely due to reliability. After having one 2021 Yukon lemon and now my AT4 creaking and rattling; it will be so comforting to know I don't have to worry about that. However, I will wait a few years until Toyota perfects them. Unfortunately, the cargo space sucks compared to GM's. Will be forced to get the center bench for kids.

What about the Ford Expedition?

The Timberline does peak my interest, but I've had a 2016 F150 and 2016 Expedition. Both had horrible interiors. Plus my F150 2.7L smoked after startup which required major engine repairs. I got rid of it quick. Ford left a bad taste in my mouth.

I've had really bad luck with new vehicles. However my wifes Lexus's have been outstanding.

While Camrys and Tacoma's may be reliable, there is no guarantee that the new Sequoia will be following the same shoes. And even though its "new" it still looks old.
I like my Yukon. It gets tons of compliments, and by and large after 10 months has been pretty solid. When I took it in for the Service restraint issue last week the dealership offered me 10K more than I paid for it if I wanted to sell..... I'm like .... Nope....
