Isn't the Sequoia going to be using the same Tundra engine that has already been having tons of problems? I saw that some people's trucks were bricked at just a few hundred miles. They'll get that sorted out eventually, no doubt, and Toyota makes a quality vehicle, but I absolutely would not purchase one for a few years. That may be slightly hypocritical given the 5.3 problems and the fact that I have a '21 Z71, but I feel like I've seen a lot more early complaining about the Tundra's reliability than I did the Tahoe's.
We'll likely do the next iteration of the 4Runner for our other vehicle, so I'm looking forward to seeing what the specs are on that.
