See below for a torque curve comparison between the 3.5 EcoBoost and a typical V8 (i.e. 5.3 V8). That, in conjunction with shorter gears (3.73), will absolutely give the Expy a "faster" driving experience.

Yes. I think all the FX4 with the tow package are 3.73. That could be it, but the turbo engine builds torque differently i bet. I have not driven the AT4 yet, and my wifes denali does not have the tow package....so time will tell. I like them all honestly, and if money was not an issue id keep the ford to drive on odd days.
I would imagine if an Expedition had the High Output Ecoboost and 3.73 rear end, it would feel and probably be faster than the GM.See below for a torque curve comparison between the 3.5 EcoBoost and a typical V8 (i.e. 5.3 V8). Actually that's the 22 expy with timberline or stealth performance package.I would imagine if an Expedition had the High Output Ecoboost and 3.73 rear end, it would feel and probably be faster than the GM.
Oh, I know. I'm waiting on some reviews of the 2022 Ford Expedition Limited Max with the Stealth Performance Package. I think they'll start to be delivered in April.Actually that's the 22 expy with timberline or stealth performance package.
