HI all I thought we would start a thread on simple outlines of where those of us waiting in shipment purgatory are in an easy format and update the group when you get a window sticker and in transit notice. Maybe this gives hopes to those in certain regions if we start to see movement.

The ENTIRE first page of the general discussion of this forum is overwhelmed with order/delivery issues. We need yet another thread about orders and deliveries like a hole in the head. Yet everyday someone post another one with some other detail. Its a disaster!! Only time will fix all these issues, till then its a disaster. Its a disaster, your are not alone. Problem is, a lot of us dont have any other tahoe questions or issues or quirks to deal with while driving them to talk about as we dont have our rides yet. We are trying to communicate with each other, keep folks posted, vent frustrations, give encouragement, and also try to not get buried in comments in threads over 60 pages deep so folks create new ones. I created my thread as it pertains to the 23s just starting out to try to keep that stuff out of the 22s threads as it would only make it more complicated in trying to read those if 23s were added to the mix. Hopefully gm gets its act together and can clean up the mess/communicate better to us customers.

I hear you it is jam packed with frustrations. I am attempting to keep this one simple to see if we notice a trend. One dealership in my area has 11 Tahoes in transit - 3 LT, 3 RST, 5 Z71. I randomly selected some to inquire on the chat about when they are built. There are some that were built the last week of May / first week of June.

Best part is my wife ordered a Porsche Cayenne built June 10 (my Tahoe built May 23) in Slovakia, put on the vessel boat June 24 slated to arrive mid July. Over 5,000 miles away...

Additional note - mine sat in Midlothian TX from 4/12/22 - 06/22/22; moved to Arlington TX rail lot on 06/22 and as of yesterday it was still there waiting to be put on the train.

I was hoping to see a post from you about how you were able to track yours because it was on a truck out of wentzville, MO. I saw a trasnsporter full yesterday outside of St Louis. I wasn’t sure if you were closer to St. Louis or Chicago.

I brought this up months ago to the administrators. Doesn’t seem like it got much traction. There should be a whole separate topic for order and pre-delivery issues. That would dry this section up quite a bit.

I'm wondering how this thread differs from the existing Midlothian thread with the same goal? I think there is yet another thread, so mods should really delete this one.

There is no trending or conspiracy to discover. GM sucks at communication, there is plenty of evidence posted of dealers notifying customers that trucks are missing one (or more) chips that are model agnostic, and those chips will trickle in over the next 3-6 months. There is also plenty of evidence that the trucks come out of Midlothian randomly, and its entirely possible that GM themselves don't even know or have a plan as to what trucks are pulled for completion and shipping.

Mine isn’t on a truck. It’s sitting in Arlington TX and is waiting to be put on the train. Apart from my salesman tracking on VinView, I have no ability to track it.
