I started to have these installed in the early afternoon today, but that turned into an evening job even with two mechanics working on either side. The labor was a littler pricier, but that's only because there was an unforeseen issue that required more labor. Otherwise, the brakes look good from what I've seen so far.

Your gonna stop on a dime with just barely tapping the brake pedal with those! I feel like im gonna go thru the windshield when i get on the brakes more than just a gentle press with my stock brakes.

My driveway has a steep incline for a good 50 feet, so when I drove it home, the noise from the pads grinding against the rotors was extremely loud. Most of my neighbors came outside to see what that noise was.

I figure it's going to take a couple of days for proper wear in for this setup because I don't live far from work, and most of my errands are within a 4 mile radius. And with L.A. traffic so stop and go on freeways, I don't want to be in a situation where I need to take to the freeway and unexpectedly slam on the brakes - so I'll stick to the streets for now until there's less friction between the new pads and rotors.

Driving it today wasn't bad at all. I drove for most of the day today, and the hard friction grinding has gone. The new brakes feel similar to the stock brakes under normal driving conditions, but then again I haven't had to suddenly brake. I don't intentionally plan on doing any hard braking just to test out the bite power of these brakes, so I'll let that circumstance happen naturally.

The brake dust is non-existent, so I'm happy about that. And with the wide open spaces between the spokes of my wheels, it makes cleaning the calipers that much easier. I didn't have the chance to paint the rear calipers while the wheels were off, but I'll eventually get to it.

Day two with the brakes on, and I drove the freeway some 80 miles round trip. Honestly, there's no huge difference in the amount of force to stop the vehicle. You'd think with 8-piston brakes like these they'd be very sensitive to the touch, but they're not. In fact, they have a very stock feel to the amount of pressure needed to stop.... Go figure. And that's with the steel braded lines.

I don't think an elaborate review on these is necessary, other than the information I've provided and what you can find online, but if anyone has any further questions, I'd be more than happy to try and provide you with some answers.

Love the color match!
They're very subtle. They don't scream "LOOK AT ME" at all, and you really can't see the color matching on the calipers until they're in direct sunlight.... and I'm perfectly fine with that. It's one of those attention to details that I always strive to accomplish when customizing my rides.
