I know these are outside dimensions but I went out and measured it any way and I got 4ftx2ftx2ft..

thats funny i was looking at the subs and figured 45x25x25 as a guess..

tuned that low the box size isnt bad.. are you sure it SHOULD be louder.. or do you just WANT it louder? Sometimes expectations can blur your vision a lil to the facts. Those speakers will jam but they arent exactly monsters and dont have the ass behind them to crawl out of a smaller box possibly.

i mean you only NEED 9 feet for them to work and you have that covered.. maybe the tone range isnt really where you listen to normally so the tracks not matching the tone.. for example we tuned my 15/t2 to 27hz and while it SLAMSSS to Jeezy or a bass cd..i mean its tuned to low to even hit solid to Joc/Coffee Shop... so if you were to listen to Jayz or something upbeat on my system it sounds a lil weak and sloppy.. but when you throw 30hz at it.. it gets bell clean.. and grimey as shit and will rattle your balls loose.

Try some different tracks on it FIRST imo
Then be realistic.. they are $100 15s.. not $800 15s

And if youre still feeling like you should be hammering harder.. or if its hitting harder to music you dont normally listen to but sounds weak to stuff you do.. then it might be time to go back to scratch on the box.

you really dont need that much space. We just built a demo Ford Focus for SEMA, four CVR 15's off two IX1000.1 and it wanged, and four, behind the seats firing forwards. I will see if I cna find some pics....

i wonder what '3000' watt amp, if it's like a Boss, then there's the issue.

well thats sealed... sealed crv's only need what, 1.5-2cubes each...
ported last i knew the optimal box for the crv 15s was 3.5-4cubes each.
3x3.5=10.5 cubes before displacement
3x4=12 cubes before displacement

but yea tracy, what 3000 watt amp is what i wanna know too. b/c wired correctly the impedance is 2.5-2.7ohm... there are but not to many amps that do 3000rms at 2.5ohm

I pretty sure that was just it, I want it louder. You get what you pay for! lol

Back to the drawing board.

well that 1 reason why it isnt as loud as you want.
the subs are probably wired to 2.5ohm...
the amp does 750@2ohm.. take 2.5 and box rise. you MIGHT be getting 225watts per sub...
you can get rid of 1 sub, wire the 2 subs to 1ohm and it will be much louder im sure. but rather than say you have a 3000watt amp, you have a 1500d, 3000MAX

if you want 3 subs you have 2 choices imo...
get 3 500d/750d's or get a strong amp that puts out the bulk of its power at 2ohm...

i would say an audiopipe 3k b/c its a true 3000 at 2ohm and you can always find them on caco used under 300 but the signal isnt the cleanest...but if you watch the gain you'll see and hear your subs come alive...
did a test with one and yea it puts out the power but close to 50% gain it was clipping, swapped a crescendo 3k in... at 75% gain and bass boost turned up the signal never clipped... quality/power vs power but ok quality

IM not a fan of Crescendo amps since they are really just rebuilt power accoustic amps.. if you take two apart next to each other its as painfully obvious as a needle in your eye.

but thats beside the point

We do need to make sure youre getting the most power from your amp possible.. and to do that we need to start by going backwards.. dropped is assuming youre getting 2.5 which is just kinda a common number people apply to a 3 1ohm setup ran in series..
3 divided by 1 minus resistance is 2.5ish which in the case of your amp puts you power somewhere around.. poop.

So this is gonna take popping the speakers out but we can get you closer to your 500w rms by getting you closer to 1ohm by INCREASING ohm load on the subs then dividing as a whole..

Just so you know whats going on right now you have 2-2ohm voice coils per sub.. ran in Parallel to give each sub a 1ohm resistance, divide 2 by 2 = 1... then those three are ADDED together to run to the amp in Series.. which ADDS 1(ohm load) x 3 (speakers) giving you 3ohms .. because of the magic of efficiency it end up being 2.5(ish) and your 1ohm stable amp is doing shit for power..

What you NEED to do is make the math work FOR YOU.. instead of trying to make each speaker 1 ohm.. run the speaker itself in SERIES making a dual 2ohm Voice Coil a 4 ohhm speaker.. then run each speaker into the amp as a Parallel loop..
so you get 4(ohm) DIVIDED by 3 (speakers) which is 1.333333 which in a perfect world will look more like 1.15 on the amp.

Your amp will be putting out twice the power.. and alot closer to the rms of the speaker and the max efficiency of the amp...

It looks like this...

This is your speakers and the 4 connections on each speaker.. a +/- for each voice coil

DVC133a.jpg

Putting a wire connecting the positive on 1 voice coil to the negative on the other will cause an ohm load increase and make it act like a single 4ohm load

DVC133b.jpg

After installing the yellow jumper wire.. taking all the remaining power inputs on the subs and running them all together and do the same with all the negatives.. then plug these 2 wires into the bridged part of your amp..

___________________________________________________________
you just turned 6 2 ohm loads (12) into 3 4ohm loads ... then turned those 3 4ohm loads into 1 4ohm series which was divisable by the number of speakers involved in the series.. 3.. sooooo 4ohm/3=1.333333333 which in real world numbers is more like 1.15

DVC133c.jpg

/\

This is how your wiring diagram SHOULD look.... only not a messy ass scribble drawing.. lol..

MAKE SURE YOU ARE JUMPERING FROM THE POSITIVE ON 1 VOICE COIL TO THE NEGATIVE ON THE OTHER.. NOT jumpering from the +vc on one to the -vc on the same voicecoil.. i know this sounds super ******* obvious.. but.. just make sure if youre gonna do it do it right.

sorry mob but crescendo's are nothing like ANY pa... they are updated version of the Zenon board used in the SAZ-3000D ask navid ;)
no pa amp uses a zenon board ;)
not to mention use a clamp meter and test both.. huge difference, not to mention the crescendo's are damn near bullet proof. of the 9 ive setup never had 1 fail. 1 of which is running at .25ohm for burps and it works like a charm. most of my boys use them at .5ohm
a good friend of mine is running 2 strapped at 1ohm and dont even get warm(over 8000rms)

btw, you told him he had dual 2ohm subs but he DOESNT.. he has dual 4ohm since he's running cvr15s... they only come dual 4, as do the 10s..
the 12s come d2 or d4...

so if you series/parallel (3) d4ohm subs you get a 2.67 ohm load.
however if you parallel wire 2 of your subs you'll get a 1ohm load getting 1500rms from your amp giving each sub 750rms... it should be louder than your current 3 sub setup even though your loosing cone area your adding 2x the power
