My 99 2dr yukon was was getting new top gaskets redone with a replacement delphie injectors (ACDelco)

I started off with engine temperature going banana on me.

First I had to release the steam off to cool it to start disassembling it for the flush and rebuild.

Went and got a replacement thermostat and a reservoir. All pipes seems in good condition

After I got the radiator done

The radiator showed symptoms of gaskets issues

I ended getting gasket kits and a delphie upgraded injectors.

Knowing those kind of engine are known to have cracked cylinder heads so I was prepared for the worst.

I was able to get two new OEM heads from GM for about 200 bucks.

Also, I was able to find and LS2 engine.

My question will be ... will it be a direct plug and play for the LS2 engine?

Second option would be upgrading the crank shaft with the stock heads. Does the corvette crank shaft fits? What other option do I have for a stage 2 performance? (Header, exhaust system, spacer, crank shaft, air filter etc)

unknown at this time.
going to an ls2 from a vortec obs or tbi is a big change in wiring and components. doable but not plug and play when you make the changes yourself.

You got both heads for $200??? Where at? I need a pair, everywhere I've looked they want $325 or more each!

The LS2 is just about the opposite of plug and play.

Why do you want a crankshaft from a corvette?

I read somewhere that the corvette crank would fit the 350 but I've yet found a valid document that supports it
