Step 1. Remove old engine
Step 2. Remove heads from engine
Step 3. Install old heads on new engine
Step 4. Install new engine.

yes thanks ive got that far on my own lol what im puzzled about is the fuel delivery? i dont think that stock spider assembly will put out enough when a guy starts laying into the throttle. it might be okay in the lower rpms

i would inspect your head and get them cleaned up before reusing them. and as i said in "a second thread" of yours on the same subject the fuel system will work just fine but a retuning of the pcm to accommodate the 383 will help to. it would still work with out a retune tho.

head modifications are not needed unless you intended to seriously modify the cam profile instead of just boring and stroking. you can have some comp cams camshafts that are computer compatible that can even accommodate roller tip rockers 1.52 rockers with no need to modify heads at all. just elogating holes and adding scew in studs by themselves now is just a waist of money. you will not need it and with even the minor changes i mentioned above it is not required.
