4l60e transmission question

Hey guys. I need an answer on a trans question. Had to buy a rebuilt trans for my 2006 Denali XL. Ordered the 4L60E because I'm positive that's whats I need for my 6.0 V8 and AWD. He just got in touch and says I need the 4L80. Don't think that's the case. I need the 4L60E right?

your 6.0 awd uses a 4l65e or 4l80 but not a 4l60e. the 60 was upgraded to 65e before your year. look at your rpo codes. mt1 is a 4l80e is rpo mt1 4l65e is m32. the rpo list would be in the glove box so to speak.

na dont think so but arty fire when your on the recieving end is freakin terrifying no whistle before to warn just an extremely loud awful terrifying explosion the ones who hear the whistle dont live to tell about it
and i definatly got something called hyper alertness" loud noises make me jump"
supposed to be one of the symptoms of ptsd

Thank you for the replies! I really appreciate the help. Finally I've got the transmission I need on its way to me after three months. I've sorta been lost through this whole process because it's been so messy. And not having my car for three months has really thrown life out of whack. I rely on my car to be able to work and run my business so I'll be excited to get it back up and running next week when the trans gets here.
