How much power do you think I could handle with a transgo hd2 shift kit and a corvette servo, maybe even a new torque converter? Should also mention my truck has 233k miles
The 4L60E will handle your current roughly 300hp engine. Another 80hp wont make too much difference. The corvette servo will help it last longer along with a kevlar 2-4 band(requires tranny pump to be removed). The servo only comes into play on 2 and 4th gear. It holds the 2-4 band tighter against the drum. But you will burn up the 4L60E tranny doing burn outs. The tranny has to be built for abuse. When you start jacking up 400hp and higher then personally I would install a 4L80E which is basically just the old TH400 of the 70's early 80's with an overdrive. I would still build the 4L80E for the abuse though.
If the "hesitation and "clunking" is coming from the tranny then who knows how much longer its going to last with the current engine setup.

Thanks for all the info, probably will just get a new rebuilt transmission before I do any serious performance upgrades, i just have one last question sorry to keep bothering you, but if I were to do the corvette servo and a shift kit do you think I'll be good with a CAI, exhaust and a programmer/ tuner (not a black bear tune)
